We currently occupy 4 units on site including the most recent move to our main workshop of 5000 sq.ft. with Gantry crane 5 tonne capacity. Our original unit is now used for special projects.


  • General welding processes including MIG, TIG, MMA
  • Specialist welding of cast irons, aluminium alloys, bronzes, brasses and stainless steel etc.
  • CNC Plasma profile cutting x2 capacity to cut up to 20mm 10' x 5' with its own gantry crane and steel rack
  • CNC Milling Machine
  • CNC Lathe
  • Butler Elagarmill with 2500 x 1000 machining capacity
  • Bending and folding including use of CNC Brake Press with 110 tonne capacity
  • Two fully equipped separate spray paint booths (for 2 pack or single pack spraying)
  • Machining - Turning, milling, drilling etc.
  • Mechanical assembly, repair and fitting facilities
  • Extensive stock of steel and plate for a fast turnaround


We also provide a servicing facility and repair of column pipes for the pumping industry including oil rigs, fabrication of stainless steel or galvanized strainers for the pumping industry and are also able to do alloy repairs.

PJ Engineering was established over 30 years ago by Paul Janes as a sole trader subcontracting to the pumping industry and other local industries.


​Along with general fabrication, our team also specialises in cast iron, stainless steel and cast bronze repair work for the pumping industry. We also have had the privilege of working with local artists on commission works.

​​SINCE 1986 

Most of our workers have been with us for at least 5 years and have experience in stainless, brass, bronze, aluminium and cast iron welding processes.
